Crowdfunding

  • A project can be funded by the public who can take part in various forms, the most commonly known of which are donations (with or without compensation), but which can include loans, capital contribution, etc.
  • Each individual may only give a small amount, but when put together the sums collected can quickly prove to be extremely advantageous.
  • In addition, the creation of a community involved in one’s project is an indicator of the relevance this project has on its market, a source of ideas to maximize it, and possibly a lever to convince other partners.
  • In return, individuals get a tax break.
  • Funding can be obtained in a very short time.

A crowdfunding campaign is part of the company’s communication strategy and business approach. It is therefore necessary to prepare this fundraising campaign really well; this may take the project promoter time, but help with this initiative is generally on hand from the funding platform.
To persuade members of the public who are increasingly called on to help step this way.
How to choose your platform
Several factors can come into play when people make their choice: in particular the closeness of your project to where they live, values they defend (the ecology among others).
A few examples of crowdfunding platforms: Kiss kiss bank bank, Ulule, Mimosa, Kocoriko, Lita.co, Les Cigales, Wedogood
