Clermont Auvergne Métropole labeled FrenchTech since July 2016 – a dynamic ecosystem recognized by the French Government.

What is Clermont Auvergne FrenchTech?

The Clermont Auvergne FrenchTech Community is an entrepreneurial initiative that helps to build fertile ground for the growth of its startups; the ultimate goal is to help them to become leaders on an international scale.

This translates into:

• a genuine, professional commitment by Olivier Bernasson, founder of pecheur.com, a local success story, to lead the initiative in the territory and beyond, surrounded by a dozen of the area’s iconic entrepreneurs
• an ecosystem united around a label and ready to take action to foster the growth of startups: incubators, accelerators, funders, major groups, representatives from research, higher education and innovation
• operational and financial support from Clermont Auvergne Métropole.

If you are a startup:

• The label allows you to belong to the national FrenchTech Community and therefore to take advantage of the leverage of this label at local, national and international level
• Clermont Auvergne FrenchTech is “your” gateway to the territory’s innovation ecosystem and will enable you to have access firstly to a professional network mobilized for you by giving you access to a qualified directory of the local ecosystem
• It means you can attend events throughout the year on subjects that concern you
• It means access to new funding tools and new support programs
• It means you can have access to an experimentation area if you are in the mobility sector
• It means you can apply to the various calls for projects launched by our partners
• It is the solution for going abroad to discover other ecosystems
